THE PERFECT SPRING AND SUMMER PERFUME: JO MALONE NECTARINE BLOSSOM AND HONEY

A few months ago I walked into the Jo Malone shop in Barcelona determined to find a special perfume that was the perfect match for my more mature self. I was tired of wearing scents that everyone would recognize and some would even wear themselves.

Once inside I was met by so many different options, carefully organized in several categories, and I didn’t even know where to start looking. Luckily, I was helped by the nicest employee, who started to try all the different categories on my skin. As if it was fate, she was able to pinpoint right on her first choice, what would be the perfume that I would choose after a few more tries. So, she started with the fruity (secretly knowing that I would absolutely love them), then floral, woody, spicy and so on. And after 10 or 15 different tries I would every time go for the first one.

I have to say that the customer service was absolutely impeccable and I was able to find a perfume that totally matches my personality. Furthermore, because I was buying it during the Christmas campaign, there was a specialist engraving the bottles with the customer’s names, and I was lucky to have my very first Jo Malone perfume personalized with my name.   

Nectarine Blossom and Honey is described on the Jo Malone website as: succulent nectarine, peach and cassis and delicate spring flowers melt into the note of acacia honey. Sweet and delightfully playful. To me, it smells of sweet fruit, fresh and clean; which creates an extremely nice spring or summer scent. Another thing that I love about it is that the smell lingers for a really long time, sometimes I can even smell it on my skin after a couple of days, not to mention how much it lingers on the clothes (maybe even for a week)! This perfume makes me feel mature, feminine, elegant, attractive and oh! so special, because not many people wear it.

Before this purchase I hadn’t even been to any Jo Malone shop and I have to admit that the experience far exceeded my expectations. And most importantly, I am over the moon every time I get to wear my new perfume. I just save it to some more special days so that I don’t run out of it too soon!

Despite it being a premium brand and the prices being a tad too high, I know that I will repeat with Jo Malone in the future!

Hace unos meses entré por primera vez en la tienda de Jo Malone en Barcelona con la determinación de encontrar un perfume que fuera perfecto con mi yo más madura en la que había decidido convertirme. Ya estaba cansada de llevar colonias que todo el mundo conociera o incluso usara habitualmente.

Una vez dentro de la tienda, me encontré con tantas opciones distintas, perfectamente organizadas en varias categorías que ni tan siquiera supe por dónde empezar a buscar. Por suerte, me encontré con una dependienta majísima, que empezó a probar sobre mi piel muchísimos perfumes distintos. Como si tratara del destino, la dependienta fue capaz de encontrar en la primera “Prueba” el perfume que acabaría por comprar al cabo de muchos otros intentos. Así, empezó probando las esencias afrutadas, las florales, amaderadas, especiadas, etc. y después de 10 o 15 intentos, cada vez repetía que mi favorita era la primera opción.

Creo que tengo que mencionar que la atención al cliente es absolutamente impecable, y que gracias a la dependienta con la que coincidí fui capaz de encontrar un perfume que encaja totalmente con mi personalidad. Además, gracias a que fui a comprar durante la campaña de Navidad había una especialista grabando las botellas, y tuve la suerte de poder tener mi primer frasco de Jo Malone personalizado con mi nombre.

Nectarine Blossom and Honey se describe en la página web de Jo Malone como: sabrosa nectarina, melocotón, grosella negra, y delicadas flores de primavera se funden con el aroma de miel de acacia. Dulce y de una alegría deliciosa. A mí me recuerda a frutas dulces, un aroma fresco y limpio, que funciona perfectamente como perfume para primavera y verano. Otra cosa que me encanta es que el olor se mantiene durante muchísimo tiempo, algunas veces incluso puedo olerlo en mi piel al cabo de un par de días, y sobre la ropa hasta semanas después de haberla usado. Este perfume me hace sentir madura, femenina, elegante y atractiva; e increíblemente especial, porque no todo el mundo usa Jo Malone! 

Antes de esta compra ni tan siquiera había entrado a ninguna tienda Jo Malone y tengo que admitir que la experiencia superó con creces mis expectativas, que la atención al cliente está a la altura del tipo de marca Premium del que se trata Jo Malone y que estoy totalmente obsesionada con la fragancia que escogí! Lo único que intento es guardarla para las ocasiones un poco más especiales, y así evitar que se acabe demasiado pronto!

Teniendo en cuenta que los precios son quizá un pelín elevados, soy consciente de que no podré comprar a menudo en esta tienda, pero estoy segura de que repetiré con alguna otra fragancia en el futuro!
